Description

I ASK READERS TO CLICK ON MY ID IMAGE TOO, you don´t have to see it, just clicking it would be enough and it would be nice :)

------------------------------------ READ BEFORE POSTING!!!!!!! ALSO READ THE JOURNAL " Notes, Info, Message and propuestas "

Read this book [link]

(which I post with purely educational and non profit purposes)

PS: I´ll take me time to answer. and YES, We latins are very angry.

READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION ON THE FIRST PART OF THIS MINI SERIES OF STRIPS , if you can´t even do that before posting and if you are from USA then you would sadly be perpetuating this USA stereotype [link] and let me assure you that It´s as hard to me to write all this as it is for some to read but one of the first things we must surpass is the past, and for that we must all analize the fact and see them from different points of view so that we can disscuss them and get over them.

For the Strip miniseries of why the world hates USA, this one its about the rest of America, more will come.

1ºpart: Hetalia USA fast and furious [link]

First off all all the info and sources are real and as always with a complete lacking of subjective involment,( IT MEANS THAT THIS IS NOT A PERSONAL OPINION, JUST BLUNT FACTS AND CLEAR DATA WITH THE GENERALIZED OPINION OF THE MAYORITY OF THE POPULATION OF THE COUNTRIES IT REPRESENTS)thats what I have the authors comments for, the comic strips are objective.

Also check what the deviant artists have posted, here and in the other strips , the main intention is to open debated and create dialog .

HERE IS THE FULL OFFICIAL LIST OF USA´s military interventions in the world [link] since 1890 to 2011 which manages to not mention many of the ones in Latin America

----------------------------------------- Authors rant

Yeah, the second part of this miniseries finaly is here, now was the turn for the rest of America, however the info was way too long so I had dear Cuba do the rant (he was perfect for this) and include more info in general (even some of others continents), and even so I still have a lot of info for many things, also I had very little time to draw this, so Awa303 [link] kindly allowed me to use the image of the hetamerica [link]

Oh, México is still very angry about the fast and furious operation and its been released to the public that since 2009 (2 years ago) non tripulated airplanes patrol the north mexican border, apparently its bilateral cooperation since our goverment agreed, however people don´t like it a bit and there is a total rejection by the population.

And the comment about not liking USA´s money (or envy it) its true, studies show that the world does not envy or care about USA´s money or power, they just want USA to stop interfering with them.

------------------------------------------------------------USA´s Interventions on Latin America

Here is a little list on USA´s interventions, its extremly resumed, the original one was several pages long, but first understand this 2 doctrines that latins hate with passion:

Monroe Doctrine: "America for the Americans" it comes from 1823, time when many latin countries were fightin or finishing their indepence wars, it was supposed to say that this continent was out of Europe´s reach , yet the implications as you can imagine are bigger and its the origin of the "USA´s backyard" thing.

Manifest Destiny : its the most hated statement /mentality thing that has come from USA, it´s older but the term comes from 1850 and was what USA used to justify the "Annexation" of many territories (like all the north of México and ex-spanish territories like Puerto Rico), it basically calls the USA to expand across the continent , its so fucked up that even USA´s presidents Abraham Lincon and Woodrow Willson were against it.

Now the list:

1823: The Monroe Doctrine declares that Latin America is within the USAs "sphere of influence".
1846: The US attacks Mexico and steals 60%of its territory.
1854: The US navy bombards and destroys the Nicaraguan port town of San Juan del Norte.
1855: William Walker, operating on behalf of bankers Morgan & Garrison, invades Nicaragua and proclaims himself President.
And you can add to the list:
1964: Operation Brother Sam, U.S. Navy' support mission to the military coup d'etat against brazilian President João Goulart.
1898: The US declares war on Spain and annexes Guam, Puerto Rico, the Philippines and Hawaii. US forces also occupied Cuba after the war.
1901: US forces leave Cuba and the country gains its "independence" only after passage of the infamous Platt Amendment. The amendment allows the US to intervene in Cuba's internal affairs at any time. Cuba was also forced to cede Guantanamo Bay to the US, in perpetuity.
1903: The US pushes for the creation of the separate state of Panama, then a part of Colombia and acquires rights to the Panama Canal.
1905: President Theodore Roosevelt declares the United States to be "the policeman" of the Caribbean.
1912: U.S. marines invade Nicaragua, beginning an occupation that was to last almost continuously until 1933. In the same year, President Taft declares: "The day is not far distant when three Stars & Stripes at three equidistant points will mark our territory: one at the North Pole, another at the Panama Canal and the third at the South Pole. The whole hemisphere will be ours in fact as, by virtue of our superiority of race, it already is ours morally."
1914: The US navy shells the port city of Veracruz, an attack apparently caused by the refusal of some Mexicans to salute the US flag. During World War I, the US also invaded Mexico and Hispaniola (present day Dominican Republic and Haiti).
1933: US forces leave Nicaragua, leaving dictator Anastasio Somoza and his National Guard in control.
1954: The CIA orchestrates the overthrow of the democratically elected government of Jacobo Arbenz, in Guatemala. Almost 40 years of violence and repression followed, culminating in the "scorched earth" government terror of the 1980s. Over 150,000 people lost their lives.
1961: US-backed forces invade Cuba, but suffer defeat at the Bay of Pigs.
1965: US sends 23,000 troops to the Dominican Republic to restore order following a popular uprising against the country's military regime.
1973: A US-backed coup overthrows the elected government of Salvador Allende, ushering in the regime of General Augusto Pinochet.
1981: The Reagan Administration initiates the "contra war" against the Sandinista government in Nicaragua.
1983: US invasion of Granada.
1989: US invasion of Panama to arrest one-time protege, Manual Noriega. The operation leaves thousands of civilian casualties.
2003: US special forces sent to rebel zone to back up Colombian military protecting oil pipeline.
2004: Marines land after right-wing rebels oust elected President Aristide in Haiti
2011: USA´s operation fast & furious distributes weapons to the drug lords in México.

And thats just to mention some of the more notorious.

------------------------------------ESCUELA DE LAS AMERICAS
